bighead93,
Either those two ladies are both petite or the plane is really big(?) . How thick are the elevator, rudder and aileron parts? Are those simple 6mm depron? Looks so nice and sturdy.
Thanks,
Rico.

They are both petite
but the Extra 260 is a good size plane and yes it is very sturdy (6mm)!! I have abused my Extra...WOT snaps...tumbles whatever...I can't hurt it!! I am working on some video...and I will say it here that it is hands down the best single wing plane I own for high alpha knife edges...no coupling at all...locks in and I have personally ran an entire battery in knife edge!
The day I took this picture I had lost control (my fault) in a hover and crashed it...not even a scratch! Everytime I am out flying...it always gets a lot of attention...and when people come over to see it they can't believe it is foam...it has become my everyday plane...heck I fly it in front of my house...it is that easy to control. Video coming soon!

Thanks for the info guys... still a good size plane 'though. Good to know it can handle light crashes 'cause that's me [X(]. Looking forward to the video.

Hey everyone! Just got back from flying with the new Turnigy 2217 16turn 1050kv 23A Outrunner and all I can say is WOW!! Power on this motor is amazing!! Hovers at a click above 1/2 and pulls hard at 3/4. Power is smooth and looks great in the nose. I am using an 11X5 Xoar and tried everything from a 1300 to a 2100 and the results were very similar...I did like the extra punch with the 20C 2100. Great motor...out for a few more packs before dark!

It is so good to see and affordable plane with this size. Remember the old saying, small planes flit, big planes fly! Received mine today, cant wait to start it. I have bought my last flat flexi-flyer.
