Hello, i would like a 3d plane and have heard alot of great things about dw planes, and i want to get the biplane with motor and esc, 4 servos and graphics, but i will need a radio correct?and will the dx5 i beleive?The $99.99 spektrum 2. ghz radio, will it work with this plane?

Yes, the combo includes on a motor, ESC, and 4 servos. You still need a 1000-1500 mah 3 cell 20C lipo battery, blenderm tape, glue (foam safe CA is too hard, and will break easily), 5 channel receive,r and a 6 channel radio (for mixing the ailerons).
The DX5 you won't be able to mix the ailerons together, which is why you need a 6 channel computer radio, or have to use a heavy y harness.

The DX6i is a computer radio, which means more programability, and the ability to have multiple model settings, so you don't have to change things in the radio for it to work with different planes. Get it now, so you don't have to buy another radio. It's $200 without servos or receiver, but you're going to have to buy a receiver anyways.

Get the DX6i or even the DX7 if you can afford it. Once you use a computer radio, you'll never go back. Programming is easier, multiple memories let you set up several different models on a single transmitter, etc.
