I saw the ultimate fly yesterday built as recommended at www.foamyfactory.com. It hovers easily at half power. His was built with depron, I will be using fan fold foam. Very straight forward. Build it as suggested and you'll be happy. Cant get much cheaper than that.

If you can get EPP it would make a nice plane if cheaper than the blue foam which i doubt.
You can fly decent on 8 cell nickel metal packs.
Have you seen www.foamyfactory.com
They have free plans for the 3DX and Ultimate Bipe. I have both and they fly great.

Hey dude, why didnt you buy a shocky kit or something from modelflight?, theres better foamys but they are still ok. Also buy a kit when getting from the US, i got 2 kits shipped for $40 so its not that bad to Wangaratta. Do you fly at VRF?, i might pop out their on the weekend. Good luck with the foamy
