Default weed eater engine

not sure where to post this question so it will go here.

would it be possible to use a weed eater engine, to put on a used up 27% extra?

has anyone ever done this?

Absolutley
Look in the Engine conversions forum
DO a search for the specific engine you are planning on using- chances are there is a mention of it somewhere

I have an early Midwest Extra 300 1/4-scale that's getting a Ryobi 31cc this winter. Way back in the old days it was considered a big engine.

I know it won't be a snappy combo, but should fly it just fine.
