3D profile seletion
I am deliberation as to which profile to purchase to learn more 3D. There are 2 candidates- Mojo 60 and Aeroworks ProMX 260. The Mojo has a greater fan following, reputed to be sturdier, has a glass tube in the fuse. But it is kit and I am not very experienced at building. Also, it is too expensive to courier in- Paul suggests postal delivery which may get stuck in customs. Aeroworks on the other hand can be couriered in but is more expensive, doesnt have the glass tube in the fuse but has two piece wing and is easier to transport.
Given my dilema please suggest

Hands down best 3D bird for learning is the MoJo60. It's not a hard build at all.
No ARF really even comes close to how slowly it maneuvers. It's thoroughly 3D.
The X260 has a much lower power/weight ratio and will fly much lighter (slower).
I'll let Andy do the talking.

MOJO baby
I love my mojo 60. im in Australia and had no issues with it getting to me or with Pauls freight.
The build very easy, fuse is flat of coarse and the wing has cool little tabs on them to keep em flat while building. it was only me second kit build and went great

im a no pro pilot for sure but this plane has helped me learn heaps, well worth it

Add another vote for the MoJo
We were looking at our vast collection of planes this afternoon and realised something. Out MoJo 60 is by far our oldest plane, it has by far had the most crashes and it has by far had the most flights of all of our planes (42 planes in total in our collection).
Ours is powered by a Saito 100, fitted with a 15/4W APC prop at present and was built by me. I am far from being a good builder so if I can build one that lasts myself and 2 sons learning to 3d, anyone can achieve that.
I think that all the MoJo 60's now have the Moass modification supplied with the kit.

Seems to be a trend with the responses.
MoJo60 is still the standard by which other 3D birds are judged.
All the new kits from Paul include the MoAss modification. The motor mount is also improved and it
has a slightly larger fiberglass tube.

The ONLY gas engine I'd ever consider for a MOJO 60 is a DLE20.
It is the only one with anywhere near the right HP/weight ratio that I've heard of.
The problem with the DLE20 is the throttle is real touchy near the low-mid range and may
cause problems keeping a hover stable.
I have no experience with that JBA15 but if it's under 24oz with ignition and muffler and
has enough power to spin a 15x6 MAS-S2 at 9500+RPM then it might work.
I still wouldn't do it. Saito 100 is proven to be the perfect combo.

+1
If you really want to go gas on them, it is well worthwhile using an IBEC and reducing the weight of the additional battery for the ignition. The DLE 20 is better suited to the MoJo 65 than the MoJo 60. The BME 0.90 (Supertigre Conversion) gasser and the JBA 15 are the only 15cc's worth considering but neither really has the throttle curve to suit DOD flying. You would need to prop them to hover in the upper half of the rev range if you want to get daring. (and once you have flown a MoJo - you will want to get daring).
As Thumbskull mentioned - the Saito 1.00 is a perfect combo for the 60. Match it to an APC 15/4W prop and go enjoy.
With the larger tube in them now, they must be as near as damnit to impossible to break - Mine is an older one and it has been to hell and back.

RE: 3D profile seletion
Had the MOJO 40 delivered at my doorstep in Mumbai India. Paid Rs 900 ($20) in duty. So far the best and most durable profile that I have flown ( others being Morris hobbies sudokoi, gee whiz bee, katana 40 and tribute). Have ordered the Mojo 40 wing kit ( as I lost 30 % orf the wing in a mid air) and the Primo. Still waiting for them to be shipped. Paul, hope that you are reading this !

Swanyshouse does not mass produce kits. It's just a guy with a regular job that does this as a favor to the hobby.
He will get it to you but there is no shipping department, no marketing department, just a guy with a regular job that does these kits on the side.
Paul usually responds to emails and if you are worried, send him one. I keep a couple kits on the shelf as backup in case I smash one of my planes.
