Guys,
May I know what servos are y'all fitting into these planes? Whats the AUW? Will it come to 4lbs with standard BB servos or do I have to go mini digitals?
I just got my Wildstyle and planning for the servos..got a Saito 72 for it.
Thanks.
Regards
Marcus

I had regular servos in my Freestyle and they were fine. My Wildstlye has minis because I had them lying around. I have added about 1 1/4 ounces of weight to the tail because you cannot move any of the equipment around without cutting up the covering. Which by the way I have already done twice. If I knew in the beginning that I would have to do this when sorting out the CG I would have used standard size servos. BTW, the digital servos when used with the large tail surfaces set up for max travel tend to oscillate (like the pot is dirty). Standard servos do not do this.

Hi! I'm from the Philippines.
Currently we have the first two Wild Styles here in Manila. A local hobby shop imported them directly from Japan.
It was a blast to build (perfect design/engineering) in 2 weeks time. Covered using Solarfilm (2 rolls transparent blue and 1 roll white).
Here's my Seduction Wild Style using an O.S .46FX for now (saving up for a YS63
), used JR NES537BBs for elevator and rudder, Futaba S-3001s for each aileron, and Hitec HS-81 for throttle.

I forgot to mention mine has a Saito 56F for power. It's a little lighter than a 72 so yours will need more tail wieght, or position the battery in the next bay further back when it comes time to balance. What are you planning on doing about getting more prop clearance? The 72 really needs to swing a 13" or bigger prop. The stock gear only gives you enough clearance for a 12" prop.

Is it true that the wildstyle has a much thinner airfoil than some of the other 3d's like the Flip? Looks to be a little thinner.
What do you think the planes greatest strength is?

It's about the same thickness. Not as thick as a Laser 3D or a profile plane. The wings for a WS are built exactly the same, one is then flipped over and glue to the other other one. What I am trying to say is it has no dihedral but the wing tapers ever so slightly the same amount on the top and bottom.

A good place to buy the wildstyle is www.singahobby.com
the only thing is you will have to email him for a price.

It would be a shame to put a standard OS 70 in a Wildstyle. Its just heavier and not as powerful as a Saito 72 or YS 63
The new Os 70 Ultimate might be goos if it weighs what they claim.
