Too Heavy. Lots of people are running DA50, BME50 and ZDZ50 with very good results. Do a search in Giant Scale or ARFs.
I'm running a DA50 with DP Extra 330L version 3. Weighs in at 15 lbs.
Good luck.

The DP will 3D. Check out the videos on 3dbatix.com. However I have heard that its not a 3D machine. If you notice the previous posters weight at 15lbs. Thats begining to push the envelope on this size plane. You might want to try the Kangke Laser.

i have a brison 3.2 swinging a bambula or menz 22 x 8. IMAC and 3d this plane excells for its size at both of those. Very flat spins, blenders, stable elevators and harriers, t-rolls, waterfalls very well. I have the 1st batch version so that is the one i am speaking for/on

I flew mine all of last summer with a Moki 210 and enjoyed it before eventually trading it for something else. The DP 330 will do 3D, but like most of the smaller planes, it's difficult to do the high alpha moves because of it's weight and wing area. It will do most of the stuff, but you've got to be fast on the sticks because it responds like a smaller, heavy acting plane around stall speeds. It takes concentration and lots of engine. The 330 flies beautifully and knife edges like a pro.

I have a moki 210 on my dp330. Tryed to keep it as light as I could. Put CF landing gear on it. Came out 14 1/2 Lb. 3Ds very well. If you go gas I would put a light 50 cc like DA on it.

thank you guys. i really appreciate your entries... and pictures
i checked the specifications and has 148mm, that means
5.82 inches,
i asked you that because i thought i had to buy the DP metal stand off, but from the pictures above.. I can also use a piece of rounded Ply, right?
this is my first aerobatic, and gasser too. I only had a trainer, and I sold last week my GP Spacewalker.. at this time my hangar is ZERO planes (lol)...
so can you imagine how many questions i have about all this?
never mind.. I will get throught anyhow!
learning from experienced guys like you..
I checked your profile krazyc , such an assorted hangar you have! uh?
congrats..!
did i say thanks..?
