Longer motor mount?Pushing the engine out will help a bunch.

I had one years ago. It had a G62 in it. Seemed to take a small amout of lead upfront. The lightest fix would be to shim the motor farther out.

Skaife:

Saw my first "Hots" in 1972 at a AMA pattern contest in Madera, Ca. It got some attention as the "Novice" class pilot flew it around all over the place on knife edge. I remember it well because I had to fly against a couple of guys by the name of Phil Kraft and Joe Bredi and got my butt handed to me at the end of the second day. Both guys were nice and cordial, we spent a few hours on the tail gate sucking up some suds.

The Hots has always been tail heavy from day one. I think to work with the heavy "Webras" of the day. Keep it as light as you can, move the motor forward until you get your CG. Good luck!! ENJOY
