Flyfalcons and I were out having some fun with my DP extra. The CG is still a bit nose heavy but we are still having fun. The engine is not near broken in yet but it still pull the extra around good.

Goto my prop website for more cool vids of other stuff.

IT IS!! ID buy another in a heartbeat.

FWIW, this is the first generation, one aileron servo on each aileron.

And only beefing to it was a piece of plywood I used as a spacer to get the engine out far enough.

On that size plane, I wouldn't think more than one servo per surface would be needed anyway. The GP Extra (wagstaff) only has one per surface and people are pleased with it.

I know, but there have been some that have had flutter for some reason.. Mine sure is happy! But, I dont fly around full throttle on level or on downlines.

Great video. What does your plane weigh? I have a 2nd gen. kit with a DA 50 which weighs 15.5lbs. Flys great. Similar tendencies as yours...rocks a lot in harrier. Overall very capable machine.

Im not sure what it weighs, My CG is still nose heavy so it will be a little more fun once I get around to fixing it.

Hi John,

Great video ! My Extra is a little underpowered with the ZDZ 40. I think I may stuff a little more under the hood. Looks like I'll have to try jacking up the throws a bit too.

sweet video, Hopefully tommorow mine will have it's maiden flight.

747drvr, a friend of mine has a DP also with a zdz40, it wasn't quite enough power either. He has since added a Taurus 52, problem fixed

Its getting better! Working on breaking it in yet on that 20x10 you sent with it. Seemed to pull better than the other prop. Notice I put the loud muffler on it as it gave me a few hundred more RPM
