Only clearcoating under, and over solartex covering holes on firebox.... The firebox and F1 are very lightly glassed so wont get any clearcoat.
Clearcoat on balsa where film edges are really lock it down. I always use a low heat, even on profilm..
Dunno what profilm colours i'm gonna use, but it will be pearly!!!!
just been reading the tutorial in the Perkins catalogue by some bloke

Steve

Been busy this weekend, but not flying
.
Bought a Volvo yesterday, so I am now technically "and old man". Cloth cap order is going in on monday [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]. Only kidding, I bought the T5 version - at 250 bhp it is not lacking in poke
So on a related issue, any one interested in a Subaru Impreza Turbo? 95 N reg, well cared for and in good condition
Can fit a Capiche 140 in it

Sore point!
I just managed to fit my C140 in the car to work on at a friends house...
It only just fits in minus engine mount and rudder... I'm doomed.. I have an estate as well!!
Need to buy a new car.... or sell the 140!!

Luke,
It's crap for room when the seats are down, yet normally there's plenty of rear legroom..
It has to go... but not until I decide what to have next...T5 would be nice.. though I did like my old BMW 330I, and my 325I after that (current).... I might take a look at the mondeo X-type estate....
Carbon copy Are replacing the spats for me, just about to order profilm... 8 Metres of pearly white as a base?....
Regards,
Steve

Biggest estates are the E class mercs. Tried a 5 series, did not like it, but not bad for room. Audi A6 is pretty big, and of course the volvo
. Otherwise yes the mondeo looks good, and the Pug 406 is big too.
Unlimited funds, would be the Audi RS6, but as funds are limited, had to go with the T5.
