Well, I have flown the Funtana from hanger 9 all summer long & I like it so much I even ordered a backup but I decided I just wanted something bigger. I have a 1/4 scale Extra but wanted more of a 3D airframe so today I broke down and ordered a new Katana through RC Airworld. It is the 80" version like from Giantscaleplanes.com. Foam core wings and very aerobatic from the looks of it. The covering is Butt Ugly but nothing I can't fix. Besides, I was planning on going over the complete airframe to check the quality of the wood and the glue joints anyway so stripping it just gives me a good excuse. This one really will be my winter project. I hope it does all I want it to when it is finished.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to haul it around. And pick an engine..........and servo's.......... and a color scheme/design........ gee. I guess picking out a airplane was the easy part!!
