I am currently building a hanger 9 edge with a fox 3.2 gas engine, I just wanted to hear from anyone on what your thoughts or on this combo for 3d. I know the wing loading will be kind of high but it should come out about a pound to 1 1/2 pounds heavier than the same plane with a saito 180 which is the recommended engine. Will this extra weight make it loose that much in performance?? I really hope it will be a good 3d plane. Please, any thoughts or help with this matter will be much appreciated.

because I had it & it fits really nicely in the cowl. One of the members of the club I belong to had the same plane with a us41 in it & said it flew really well but could use more power. Another member had one with a zdz40 & said it was a good combo. I think the fox weighs less than the us41 & a little more than the zdz. The fox is already mounted & elevator servo's already installed in the tail, all 100oz metal gear analogs & a 5945 hitec for pull pull rudder. I am hoping to maiden this bird in the next couple of weeks & I will post a flight report. I am used of overpowering planes, I also have a gp 1/3 pitts with a g-62. I still want to hear from anyone with gassers in this plane, I know you are out there.
