I flew a 3d hobby shop sukhoi with a saito 100 swinging an apc 18x4w. a 15x4w isn't nearly enough prop for the engine, probably plenty for a u can do though.

Sorry, but no way a Saito 1.00 turns a 18x4W. Maybe you are mistaken about the engine or prop size? A 18x4W is better on a Saito 1.50 or 1.80.

Hi!
In my You-Can-Do .60 powered by a MVVS .91 two stroke the best prop so far is a 16x4W APC.
So I guess a 1.00 four-stroke in the same plane can swing a 17x4W or there about.
A 15x4 will be way way to small prop for that engine!

The MVVS 91 two stroke is much more powerful than the Saito 1.00 four stroke. A Saito 1.25 is still not enough to turn a 17x4W. Not trying to be a know it all, but many people read these post. I don't want to see them make a mistake.

15x6 should yield good results. I have a saito 100 on my big stick 60 and have had really good luck with a wooden 15x6. I have not done any 3D flight with the big stick, but that prop would be worth a shot.

I have a UCD with a Saito 1.00 and I use an APC 16x6 prop. plenty of thrust.
