Nice videos, gents! Leaped into 3D flying not so long ago, still have to learn a lot. As Joseph said, it's possible to learn in no time, but you need years to master your skills.

3/D flying is my passion, 2nd. after flying jet models, but requiring lot more skills for the model to stay alive. LOL after each session.

Morning light with "JFDesign650" now in its 11th. year of fun.

3/D beach fun.

Specially designed for 3/D fun.

In the Harry mode.

My latest mono 3/D design.

A dream to fly.

Having a daily fun flying 3/D routine with indoor models even outdoors in still air just like this morning to start another RC week.

Indoors or outdoors no difference on mornings like today.

3D well I would say is flying post stall. Though more traditional "old school" 3D is kind of gone out of favor now for more high energy XA type of flying but my passion since 2009 has been the more traditional 3D/Freestyle. Also for the guy who said to ask a 3D guy to slow roll the runway. Sir that's not hard for someone who can actually fly 3D and not just the guy banging the sticks and saying he is flying 3D(there is a difference) Plus I would love to see you attempt a slow roll like that with 70 degrees of elevator, 50 degrees of aileron, and a maxed out rudder on tap. 3D takes lots of practice to do post stall type maneuvers properly and smoothly with precision. I practiced flying enough where I was the advanced flight instructor at 2 clubs and have put on demos for many more. Just hate to see people throwing shade at 3D flying just because they most liking aren't able to or haven't see pilots do it well enough to see the skill thats involved. At my local club we have guy that crash often just trying to fly a left circle in the sky, guys who just love to cruise the skies, we have guy who only fly warbirds (at all skill levels), we have a few guys training for this year IMAC competitions, and us who fly 3D and freestyle. We all get along and all encourage each other. Thats what the hobby is about. Doesn't matter what type of flying experience you want in this hobby as long as your having a good time and not being a dick or dangerous.
