Capiche

Ouch!!! That hurts my eyes...the pain....make it go away...
C'mon now.....of all the planes that fall into this category, you had to find the ugliest to prove a point...
I bet it'll look a lot better if you recover it.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't like the way Caps look (any of them), so it does not impress me. If it flies the way you guys keep talking about, I'll disregard the looks and buy a kit.
And you may not remember, but I'm the guy who was complaining that I could not find an unbiased review of this plane (except for your review).

i'm biased now, i've got one
however, if you look at my "shall i compare thee" thread i'd love to fly some of those planes so i can compare them to this.
it's all very well to say this is the best i've flown, when its the only one of that type i have flown. i can say it's showed me i can do things i didn't know i could, but i can also hang, but can't yet on the Capiche, different plane, different way to the Cougar.
i like the Capiche, but i want to fly some of the competition just so i have some back up on my claims

Edible- My point exactly. Now that is one butt ugly airplane. Another is the Razzle by Seagull models (Hangme 9) , any number of the sticks out there (I personally feel airplanes should look like airplanes) and a number of others. And don't even get me started on the color schemes these chinese are using. I'm not quite color blind yet.!!!!

No, Im not loaded
But at least you got the part about not owning a capiche right. I just feel like there is not use in having an airplane that will do everything if you dont push it to do everything.

I sent a note to the RCU admin guys about the last page of the thread. Not much use being able to post, but not see the posts!
Perhaps the thread has got too big! I notice it is now way past the UCD 60 thread.

From: Jersey,
I think we have seen a few unbiased opinions coming through now from those that use this forum and have actually built and flown one which is nice.
I agree about the pumped up pattern plane look, and yes that one edible is possibly in the poorer half of the equation !
Phil, thats a nice picture... you need to pick your faves and send them in to [email protected] for the competition... I cant select them for you ...

O.K.
I've been "lurking" on this forum for a while, and now it's time to get involved.
Although I know Baron personally, I'm not biased about the Capiche. (Sounds wrong, but he knows what I mean) My Capiche has been flying since September, and is now my model of choice when I fly.
Got a Giles G202 (Flair), Razzle, Loaded Dice 40 S, Laser Arrow, Great Planes CAP 232, plus 2 Helis'.
The Capiche is just so much fun to fly. I'm not a pukka 3D flyer, just a regular club flyer, but I totally enjoy ringing the beast out.
We've got two flying in my club, with another being built. The guy that's building the latest one hasn't flown one yet, just liked the way they fly and can be set up to be fairly soft or "bl**dy hell, whats it doing".
Just my 2 pence worth.

Thanks. It's only some Poly paint for the clear bodies for R/C cars. No masking, just sprayed from the front with a piece of plastic pipe through the propshaft hole. SAme stuff on the inside of the canopy. Closest match to the Profilm I could find
