Has anyone one flown the 60 size U Can Do with a 2 stroke 91.? I flew mine with a Saito 100 four stroke and I wasn't too impressed with the hover maneuver. It seemed to lack the ability to hold vertical very long. I used a 15x6 prop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Skip,
For me and others, the Saito .100 is the engine of choice. An APC 16x4 prop is what most like for good pull out from hover. There's another UCD at the field with an OS .91 2-stroke. It doesn't hover as good. Throttle response is different - not as smooth as the 4-strokes. Check out the UCD 60 thread in this forum. It's long but worth the reading.

Skip,
Gbee is right, search for the u-can-do-3d thread. Its an old and long thread with about 53 pages. I think all questions have been asked and answered profusely there.
In addition, if you want to see a video of how the UCD 60 performs with a Saito 100 go to http://www.3dbatix.com./ , click Videos then go to page 2 and look for "H9 Funtana vs UCD3D Torq off challenge". Its not a fair challenge since the Funtana is a smaller lighter plane but you can see how the UCD performs.
The following is a quote from the flier of the UCD:

Both planes have Saito 100s and APC 16x4W on UCD and APC 15x4W on Funtana. The funtana is 1lb lighter only but takes off like a rocket and leaves my UCD behind.

My U Can DO is very good with Saito 100, more than enough power for good hovering, biggest issue is getting the low speed carb. adjustment right for very good transition in the low to mid speed range so that you get nice smooth speed changes with changes in throttle.
