i dont mind the warbrids but give me a extreme mini 3D any day!! I dont find much excitement in flying in a straight line and rolling everyonce in a while. Im a major show boat if i cant show off i dont bother. lol well where are all these young guys in CT i fly at Salem propbusters and it always seems to be older gentlemen, theres no kids my age (17) to do any combat with, or pylon racing.

Shalom everyone, this is my first post here (ever). I don't think I am able to start a new thread, and I would really appreciate if someone could help me out. I used the search function but could not find what I was looking for. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful.
I have just unboxed my Precision Aerobatics Addiction (the original), and need to find some sort of a video or thread specific to assembling it. I have assembled my share of foamies, but never anything like this as of yet. I have the manual, but I would feel better about seeing something more in depth if possible.
Thanks in advance for whoever helps out,
Kevin

Greetings from Reno, NV. I'm 61 years young! Been flying since I was 9, control line with my Dad of course. Started RC early 70's with a Kraft 7ch. of choice. Then in 1973 I started flying FUTABA and still do. I love anything that flies. Currently 3D ROCKS! Low and slow is the way to go. Heli's too! Just keep fly-n.

Interesting to note that this thread started in 2004. that means that some of the teenagers will be 30 years old now
I wonder how many are still flying now that they possibly have a wife, 2 kids & a mortgage to think about?
Kind of pushes 3d to the back of the list of priorities. Would be interesting to see how many are still flying.
I expect that post #134 has long since passed on to the flying site in the sky so we will have one less for sure
I am 72 next month by the way, & started flying single channel & Galloping Ghost. Then a long lay off for the usual family & work.
Started again about 4 years ago & love it & the camaraderie of the local club, where quite a few are my age- but far better fliers
So any of the 2004 posters-- let's see if you are still out there!!!

I'm 77. I started flying helis at 65 and planks at 70. I wander about the skies doing a bit of aerobatics and spend the rest of the time with the other old guys moaning about politicians and young people.

guess my handle gives my age away
Started RC whilst living in the UK last century, helis only, devoid of any kinda giro, imagine...
Had a 30 year break whilst flying real stuff professionally and private.
Started 3D a couple of years ago, still working countless hours on the sim and in real on those d... rolling harriers
Had 12y student come to the field like 2 months ago. He had only flown sim, so was already into 3D though he could not land nor take-off... today he flies better than I do and I love it
