Hi All.
As Acroman330 said it is a Frazer Briggs design. It is a kit built in NZ by Ewan Galloway (he produces the kits), Hamish Galloway and Frazer Briggs.
It is a Matrix... and it flys bloody great. It was flown at the world champs in Ireland by Hamish Galloway. The kits are really cheap, and the glass work is really good. They cost about $550 NZ which works out about $250 US plus shipping. The C/F undercarts are avaliable for about another $50 US. And also the carbon fibre F3A spinners about $30 US. It is a full 2x2m model, and mines powered by an OS 140 RX on Hatori Tuned Pipe.
The kit consists of: Glass/Carbon fuse, canopy, and all the foam cores..stab, fin, rudder, wings. (See pic). Mine weighs about 4.8 KG's
There is also a "Euro Matrix" which has a different shape fuse - which is Kevlar/Carbon and comes out at about 4.6 KG's it costs about $650 NZ I think, which is about $325 US plus shipping.
Check out Frazer Briggs website for more pics and contact details: http://www.geocities.com/pbgcomposites

matrix, more info please. Seems like quite a deal if its a good design. shipping might hurt a little to the states though. Any ideas on shipping. What about the quality of the kit(pinholes, foamparts, parts fit, instuctions) ?

The quality of the kits in terms of pinholes etc, is tops. Ewan does a very good job on the fuses. The foam cutting is excellent and the parts fit is good. There are no wing fillets moulded into the fuse, so the wing skins overhang the root by about 15mm and you have to shape them the fuse. There are two rolls of full size plans, and an instruction booklet that covers all major issues. This was my first glass, foam kit and with a bit of help from fellow modellers I completed a successful model. Yes I agree the only problem may be the shipping as they are fairly large. You would have to email Ewan Galloway about that. (His email address is on Frazer Briggs page, under photos then Matrix.
If you want a copy of the instructions I will email it to anyone who wants it (.PDF). Email me at: [email protected]
The fuse design is based on a Typhoon 2000, but uses different airfoils, and flys much better. I believe Chip Hyde had some input into the selected airfoils. I'm only 19, and have only flown a handfull of F3A models but from what I've experienced and been told they are top notch. There is a guy in New Zealand who has a Angel's Shadow, and is having a Matrix built for him as well, so that has got to say something.
If theres anything else you would like to know please ask.

Hamish Galloway flies at our field in Ireland, he stayed after the World Champs. He recently received his new Euro Matrix and I must say it flies very well. The new model has a shorter wing,(better snap set-up) and a modified fuse. Looks very modern and could happily sit next to a Smaragd, Synergy or even an Angels Shadow.
I have seen the quality of the kit and it is excellent. You wont get better value than this kit.

Hamish "Worms" Galloway here,
Gudday,
I fly the new matrix euro which is the new design from ewan galloway and team bogworm "Frazer Briggs and Hamish Galloway". The new design flies even better than the first Matrix. I will be flying it at Romilly France in June and i hope to fly it at the British Nats. The new model flies extremely well in the wind, however we have yet to test in the calm (due to Irish weather). Photos can be found on Frazers web site or Email Ewan Galloway [email protected]
Which is Ewan Galloways address. The new model comes also in carbon/Kevlar kit form.
Hope this info is helpful...Hamish;-)
