I saw a UCD .46 fly with a Saito .80 on it and it was very impressive. I have never seen a Flip 3D fly. I noticed that the Flip has come down under $200, but is still almost $50 more than the UCD. I was wondering if it was worth the extra $50.

I don't know if its worth $50 more, but I have a flip with a saito 72 on it and its a really nice 3D plane. Sometimes I wish it had a bit more power, but the 72 is so light that the airplane floats through 3D stuff really well. I'm using a 14/4 APC wide blade. It hovers and TRs very well, but the climb out of hover is a bt slow for my tastes.

I to had the same question, and in the end they come out about the same price because the ucando requires an additional hi-torque servo. Just my two cents.
Some how I landed a few more bucks on some stuff on ebay, so I decided to do the ucando 60 over the flip.
