THE NIFTY SIX
THE NIFTY SIX
by: Tom Hammer IMAA DD VIII
The NIFTY SIX is an RC Pilot and Plane Classing System that provides a method of separating all types of flying styles and plane types so that pilots have proportionately equal use of the air at the same fly-in.
At sign in, pilots select, by number below, the type of plane and flying styles they wish to participate in. At pilot meeting the CD will separate the pilots by number, so that they can meet others in their group and discuss among themselves how they want to divide up.
CD calls the groups up in rotation to fly in numerical order. When all in that group who have staged and flown, the next number knows they should be heading to the staging area and be ready to fly.
Please place an X in the box beside type aircraft you are flying at this event. To assure your best flying experience possible, you will be flying with pilots flying the same type of aircraft.
