I think you have to get them from Probuild, Lorenz wont sell them direct to the UK. V nice model though.

he only did that with the first one... and subsequently decided it was not worth it, so he removed the to flap servos and taped the flaps to the ailerons..

the second one is just one long aileron

Problem is Probuild charge £800 for the base kit. From Lorenz its £370.....now I know you've got carriage etc.

But why do I get the feeling we're being shafted a bit? They get sole UK rights then double the price.

Looking at the Lorenz website it says only the Rahpsody has to be bought from Probuild. Perhaps you could get the HS from Lorenz afterall.

No I think Phil Williams has the UK distribution on the whole range. The High Society on his site looks a beaut....but at
an extortionate cost compared to its price in Germany. To finish it as the one on the site without any gear £3.5K!!!!!!!!

I emailed Loreze a few weeks ago and said that I wanted to order 6 or more different aircraft, but would not in anyway deal with pro build.
I received no response so it looks as if it is a exclusive distributorship thing. even still it came as a surprise as I thought I would get an email back to say the pro build has the exclusive or something along those lines but nothing.
Archie. I suppose a question is why are you selling yours? (P.S I finally sent your radio today, sorry for the delay)

Ali....I have a mate here in the office who speaks German - Maybe Lorenz doesn't speak good English. I can chase up a response to your mail if you like. (as long as I can add something to your order!!!!)

Ali

I guess its a case of getting time to get it built etc, and I am, it is fair to say, far more proficient with wood and film than I am glass and paint !

Not actively looking to sell but would consider it at the right price - its a corkin plane true enough...

Right now Im looking to get my teeth into the C140ex.

Thanks for notice about radio - You should get the parts for your 140 ex's next week I hope.

Simon Ka,

I have a High Society which I purchased through Probuild. I did try to buy the model (and a Rhapsody) directly from Wolfgang Lorenz but he refused to sell to me directly, saying that Probuild distribute exclusively in the UK.

In respect of the post by Ali, I can confirm that Wolfgang speaks & writes very good English - I have communicated with him by phone and email several times. He does however have a day job which can sometimes divert him from his hobby business of selling aircraft and I have once had to wait for a few weeks for a response.

Regards,

Bill.
