Just finished putting together a Lanier Extreme Stick 40. I put an Evolution 61 on it. Wondering what prop would be best? APC 13/4?. Someone at the club suggested an APC 11/7. I'm at 4500 ft above sea level. The goal is 3D, slow flight, rolling circles etc, not speed.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I don't have one of these engines, but my guess is that a 13x4 would be too small. I have an Irvine 61 with a 12x7, and that still rev's too much. I think a 12x8, 12x9 or 13x6 would be better. For slow 3D I would try a 13x6 first.
Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot! Had almost given up on an answer to my first post... I have a 13/6 prop that I can try. The 12/5 I had on it this weekend was definitely not enough prop. The Extreme stick has enough clearance for a 15in prop.
To Dzl...Thanks for helping even though the evolution 61 takes std glow fuel, it does sort of sound like a deisel [sm=sunsmiley.gif]
