I was wondering what the IMAC rules are. I saw that in the basic sequence of IMAC, you can actually use a non scale plane. Some people had UCD's and an ultra stick?? Can anyone explain this to me or gimme a link. All help us appreciated

From: Walled Lake, MI,
www.mini-iac.com For the basic sequence, you can pretty much use anything. I've heard of some cd's not allowing f3a type pattern planes, because of the obvious advantage they have over a scale plane, but that's all up to the cd. I've never seen anyone turned down before though, so you shouldn't have a problem.

10% rule wont be in effect until 2005. and then, i doubt it will be enforced very much. plus, 10% has a pretty generous leeway. scale determined by wingspan of full size.
go to this page on the imac website for ama rules

GO to to the JR challenge this weekend.
You will see a lot of good flying and be able to talk with pilots who can answer any additional question.
