I know what you're saying, but, do we all really think that way. I know i don't own a DA or have 8611s in everything or run a bunch of Duralight batteries in everything. These may or may not be the best, but i beleive they would upgrade my fleet anyway. I know i may not own the best, but i make the best of what i own. I have also made purchases based, at least in part, on the educated opinions of others. I think this all has merit. I'll have to go with the Carden Cap as well.
ORIGINAL: shortman

There is never a best plane. Everyone thinks they own the best stuff, plane, motor, servos lol. Its just personal opinion.

My vote right now is a 44" Foamy Factory Extra 330s that can fly like a 40% Carden Edge 540

I think we need to divide up the different groups of planes. I also suggest that we only include planes that were put into production during the year of 2004.

Funfly 3d- Extreme Flight 540
Giant Scale 3d- Wildhare RC Extra 300L
Electric 3d- Shockflier by a long shot. This plane started a new trend in airframe design.

If we divide it in groups

.40 Funfly/Profile: Extreme Flight RC Edge 540T
1/4-1/3 scale: Will be the new 28% Extreme Flight RC Yak 54
1/3 and beyond: Composite ARF 3.3M Yak 55

I believe those planes are the best period. The extreme flight rc is also going to make a 35% later on this year, that too will be wildly popular. All 3 of the above planes are probably the best manufactured/hand crafted planes you will find period.

If it's gonna go on units sold then I'd say you'll have a tough time beating Funtana 90...

I haven't flown any of the 3 I listed, I don't believe it is necessary. I put my money down that those 3 planes rest assured are the best planes in their class, sure Aerotech and custom built Quique Yaks and the such will fly good, but for all around price and absolute quality and flying (I've seen all 3 fly) they are killer. I mean John, the Yak musta been good because your getting one when you already have a 3W 40% Extra
