yes, it is from scratch, It only have 2 flights, but hovers great and knife edge like a dream but my pride is to have made a wing that makes solid harriers/elevators and still have the ability to make a real snap (thus better blenders)

Will have action pics soon

Thanks

Got my tower hobbies muffler today!! Yet to test it out yet, should get to on sunday if the weather is good. Only took 5 days from the US to Australia. Very good service!!! I haven't got a tacho so it is going to be hard to tell actual rmp gains, but from what I've read to physical gain will be quite noticealbe!!!

Got to test the tower hobbies muffler today!!!! Must say it was money very well spent!!!! Before the fazer would struggle out of a hover, now it rockets out of one!!!! Went from hovering at 3/4-full throttle, now hover at 1/3-1/2 throttle. How good is that? Had to richen up the mixture around half a turn from the standard muffler, which shortend flight times. However the power gain was well worth it. The guys at the field were more than impressed with the outcome. Not many aussies have seen the tower muffler before!!! I would recomend anyone with a OS46fx to get one!!!

I have to agree about that Tower Muffler. It works very well and like I mentioned before it makes a noticeable difference. We also tested before and after and was a good gain. For the money get one! Sounds cool to!

The Tower muffler also fits the ASP-46, TT Pro-46, & the Irvine-53 giving them all a noticeable spike in power!

$15- just do it

I guys
I am using the tower muffler on my OS-46FX and it pulls out from hover my profile Edge 540 very strong! I can get 12200RPM with APC12.25x3.75 set rich but the engine wants to quit when i do inverted flat spin? As soon as i recover to normal flight, the engine come back to full power?

It does that only in inverted flat spin?? I can fly all day long inverted without that problem?
Does it mean the tower muffler can not push enough air in the tank to feed the engine?

how do you like the burrito with a 46FX and a tower? good power? does the Edge540T have plenty of power with your setup? i like the looks (of the EF Edge) but want to keep my engine. (I have ordered a tower muffler and expect it this week) thanks a bunch

I think the Burrito is OK with the 46, but I have a 4 stroke on order for the EF Edge 540. It will hover, but I don't have much left for emergencies...which I have a lot of . I think you would be much happier with a 50 -53 2 stroke or a 72+ 4 stroke.

Hello All,

I have bought a Global Freestyle 46. I want to use my OS 46FX.

I have a mac's muffler, but I need to check if there is enough room to place it on the bottom part.

Can I use that, or should I use the Tower muffler (That what I read is awesome), or try to get a nelson muffler?

This plane is heavy, it's 5 - 5.5 lbs.

And what prop should I use?

I really appreciate your help!!!
