seams ok on my Capiche, but 6lbs hovering with pullout is pushing it... you'll be at 3/4 throttle, tho the new version has a bit more grunt again

I used a saito 72. Down in Houston I saw a couple other hype's fly, ynot's with the west, another with the ys 63, and another i didn't get to see fly with a os 70. I'll tell you that any of those engines will be more then enough. As for 2s vs 4s, I'll gladly drop the money for another saito vs any 2 stroke in that class range, including the west. The best advice I can give is to talk to people in your club that have first hand experience, and if you can fly a 4s. Everyone has their own opinion, so fly what you like and can afford.

I belive that the range of the engine is up to 50 in 2 stroke and 72 in for stroke. If you want a really good 2 stroke pick the west 50 of if you want a really good 4 stroke pick the YS 63. if you cant get the ys then i think that the sito has the best power to weight ratio out of all the 70 4 strokes. It really depends on what you want from the model if you want to prop hang and TR all day then you really need a 4 stroke because of the mid range power and because of the tourque. If you want to fly it around normally (what ever that is) then pick a 2 stroke. A lot of the engine choice is down to money i guess. If it was me then i would get the sito 72 because it is really nice engine. Also there is somthing about the sound of a 4 stroke in the prop hang, 2 strokes just always seem to sound as if they are stugling because all they do is scream.

From: n/a,
Ian, bring'er down close to eye level and stare at the canopy (you know, like AFP). It's so much easier that way. Naturally, at first it's a little intimidating, but once you've done it a few times it just happens automatically.
I've accidentally hit myself a few times as well and now it's part of my routine:-]

Jonny, i can do this with my cogar really easy. im hoping to fly it on saturday and get some photos. Ive managed to trap my arial in the elevator, thats a bit frigtning wehn you have to pull up to get it out and then the plan pitched towards you [X(]. With my flip i just find it unstable when the hover isnt completly verticall. i cant get completly verticle hovers as its always too windy so i have to puch the nose down there fore making it really unstable. it deos very nice TRs tho, solid.

Saito 72 and you will be happy, better torque for 3D and 1 oz lighter than the ys at 16.5 oz's
with muffler. use a 14x4 zinger.
2 strokes are better for speed 4 strokes are better for 3D! I have a hype putting a Saito 100 on it, But I am a all out 3Der and these wing will easily handle the weight.
