Whats on the shocky ailerons in the middle? What was the magical combo to making it hover?

What is that big white thing in the center of the TopCap?

First the hub that the prop ruberbands to came off the drive shaft while hovering in HobbyTown's asphalt parking lot. Splat. Damn. John was kind enough to make me a deal on foam safe CA Then friday morning, I was flying in my backyard and the whole drive shaft came out of the gearbox and i sorta glided into a cherry tree (good catch tree!). John Wondra kindly climbed the tree to retreive it

And yes, I sortof deadsticked John's TopCap and sorta hit a little hard... []

Great pics. I'm hoping to have one of these next winter so I can get some flying in at the local civic center gym. Looks like fun.

it fliers ok but you can only get about 30 secodns hover before it needs a short break... that's the problem... also the tail is twisting so much the knife egde turns are almost impossible in a hurry... you use elevator and it juast screws out... i'll sort that out on my nerw one though.

Did you notice i accidnelty included the saem clip 3 tiems in that video? lol

The hall is our local ice rink... costs £120 for a few hours.

55 is .13. That's way faster than your JR digis I wouldn't put 50s in it. They're kinda low on torque. 55s are .28 ounces. Gramify that.

30 seconds??? Whaaaaaaaa? I fly 4.5 minutes of hovering with only a few seconds out of that to get all screwed up and reenter...

This plane would not fly with my digi's, at 2.24oz each, way too heavy, not to mention big.
