Default Take-off problems

I have a 3d plane with more than 1 to1 thrust ratio and during the take off, when i give full throttle it bounces 2 times before it finally takes off. Does anyone know why?? I have to add than everything is balanced and all angles are ok.

What I mean is that I don't know why it doesn't want to take off immedietally, but bounces. The runway is very smooth.

It still needs airspeed to fly when horizontal. That power doesnt do much until the nose is pointed skywards. With that much power you dont need full power to take off (unless you have a really short runway). Just 2/3 to 3/4 throttle should be plenty.

the mini 3D is at a very low AoA when on its wheels, and the tail wing masks the tail. they need higher speeds to take off. Try adding flaps mixed with your elevator on take off. not too much just enough to creat that bit of extra lift to get you into the air

It's doing that because you don't have quite enough speed built up for it to fly, just give it a little more runway before you pull her off the ground.

Boogie, I think everyone above hit it. My question was going to be are you starting off with up elevator already applied? If so, let it stay at neutral for just a short distance before pulling it back. Keep experimenting to find the shortest distance.

If you want to reduce the bounce you can build up speed or go with a bigger diameter propeller. (smaller pitch)

Unfotunately I can't change the prop. I have a .21 engine with 10x3 prop and it barely pulls out the model from hover.[sm=drowning.gif]

sounds very big, whats the RPM? On my very powerfull 36 ive got a 10x5, some use a 10x4. Id go down to a 9 inch prop with simular pitch.

From what I know is that the best engine for it is 9x6 so I think that the 10x3 is ok. I don't have a tachometer but the RPM is OK.
