I saw this at the Joe Nall this year .
Here's a scan of the handout. Should be able to read it OK fullsize.
Its being carried by the Fiberclassics guys. Apparently designed and kitted by buddy of Quique's ??
A couple guys in my club bought one though neither has built it yet.
Its light , has ele & rud servos mounted in rear . It has a fairly long tail moment compared to most fun flys but its sposed to 3D very well.
Is there anyone out there who is actually flying or have seen this plane flown ? Anyone ?
What do you all think ? Looks like an interesting airframe eh ?
Thanks.
^John
...mail me if you cant read type on the scan and I'll mail you one thats easier to read.

Hello,
I bought one also at the Joe Nall. It was my first look at these very ligthweight airframes.
However;I did not know that it was designed by a freind of Quique Somenzini.
There are some other nice looking kits at his web site.
http://www.marcelocolombo.com.ar/Ingles/homeingles.htm
I have not started on it yet, but the wood looks excellent.
The construction pics are on the web site and in great detail.
But; isn't it always the case, that as soon as you buy a kit, you see something else.
I am trying to decide whether to start on the Funky 40 or order the Seduction Freestyle and /or Wildstyle. Both Seduction series and the Funky 40 are both laser cut, and have more lighting cutouts than I have ever seen,. and weight about the same.
Thank You
JohnnyWalker

Thanks JohnnyWalker for moving your post to this forum. Looks like I moved it while you were replying ! Thanks !
Yes it does seem similar to the Seduction planes from OK Models . It does look to be a quick build as well.
How much do the Seduction kits cost ? Are you ordering them online ? Where ?
I'm hoping someone else will come along who can tell us more about it. Im wondering what the all-up dry weight would be with a Webra 50, covered in Ultracote along with 2 HS-225MG's for the rear , low-profile servos in the wing and maybe a HS-85 for throttle.
They mention it weighing 3.75 lbs but Im just wondering along with the above stuff if it would stay around 4lbs.
Also, if it really is this light then maybe something like the Webra 32 or the OS 32 would be a better match ??
Any more opinions or thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I've been flying a Diablotin Super at 3.75 lbs with a HP.40. If I do an other airplane like this I will look at a .32-.36 size motor. This has become my favorite airplane to fly when it's not to windy. This set up will hover at 1/4 throttle, and rocket out of sight at full throttle. Tom

The funky .40 and very good and to fly better than the Laser 3D I have 2 Funky and 1 a Laser 3d and I can affirm that this model and an excellent airplane to train 3D use YS45 and YS63.
Construction excellent very easy and light quality!

I bought a Widebody .60 (made by the same guy) from the Joe Nall. I've built the fuse and it is great so far.....however....I need to put a stop to the rumor that a friend of Quiqui's designed it. I was told the same thing from the guy at Fiberclassic's that sold it to me.....well, later that day I talked to Quiqui about it, ad ne knew nothing about them......or the guy listed on the flyer as the designer....so......whatever....the kit is a good one either way.....

The guy standing in the center of the hyperlinked picture with the red jacket is Marcelo Colombo (Funky's designer). Quique is next to the left with the red jacket also.
Quique was 1st in the Argentinian Nats (May 22/23 2002) and Marcelo 2nd. They both went to Ireland as part of Argentina's F3A team.
Other than Marcelo being currently sponsored by Futaba/OS and Quique moving to the dark side, they know each other pretty well and there should be no other reason to deny it

Hello,
This year's Joe Nall was the first time I saw Quique Somenzini fly.
It was a short flight doing a artistic routine to music.
Does anyone know what plane that was? I never got up close to see.
Any one know what engine he was running? It appeared to be glow and was very quiet.
Thank You
Johnny Walker

I paid $179. It is a nice kit.
As far as Quiqui knowing him or not, I can't say, and don't really care. I can only comment on what he said to me while signing my Nall hat. I showed him the flyer, and told him what the guy said. Either way, I'd buy another Widebody in a heart beat. Maybe a 1.40 sized one. I'd probably buy a Funky .40 if given the chance...
