Hi All:
Which one would you get next ?
Seduction Wildstyle
http://www.singahobby.com/wildstyle.html
or
Funky 40 ?

They are good looking kits. Maybe I should just get both ?
Thanks

Daren,
I emailed the Fiberclassics guys said they were in stock and would cost 129 shipped to NC.
Daniel Z,
Seduction is a generation ahead ? Uh, why ?

Jhonhardy,
The construction is superior in rigidity and weight, and the wings have a slight taper that make posible snaps (in the madness/diablotin/funky style wings are NOT posible), faster rolls because the ailerons reach the tip and the taper again helps here. If Iīm not mistaken the airfoil is more rounded on tips to prevent unwanted tip stalling.
Surely the funky is a nice plane, but the Seduction WS has more hours of scratch on design
Just my opinion, greetings

Daniel Z,
Looks to me final weight is almost identical and both are very rigid. Non factors.
Rounded wing tips preventing tip stalls ? Tapered wing tips, airfoil and full-length ailerons adding to its roll rate & snap roll capability?
Well the first point I think you might have backwards and the 2nd point is taken but fast roll rates get me bored pretty quick. How fast does it need to be ? Honestly I doubt that one is much more stable than the other.
To me these planes are interesting because of the marriage between 3DFunFLy & Pattern aerobatics. In my experience having the slightly better design doesnt mean HALF as much as the guy flyin it OR the guy who set it up.
Actually I'm looking at both these planes now. Im undecided.
Ultimately I do like the fact that the Funky was designed by Marcelo Columbo. I dunno I just kinda like that.
But, I respect OK. They made the first REAL Arfs. Excellent planes.
Enough said. Though I guess if you write back and tell me more of the Wildstyles benefits and superiority I'll probably start leanin that way. Bring it on.

johnhardy1,
The more more rounded LE of the airfoil in the tip makes the root of the wing to stall first, the roll rate of this big constant chord (1000 sq in) wings is pretty slow either for pattern flying (45 deg), and the weight difference is about 500 gr !! (WS 20-25% lighter).
For me it is ideal to have a plane that can do estable elevators, harriers AND snaps, this is a very dificult combination in the design... try to do a blender with a diablotin... not pretty, but stalled flight is optimal; itīs all compromise

MMMM.... looking some pictures, I think that I was wrong about the airfoil; it has the same in the root and tips
