i have an 8u futaba radio. i cannot get the elevator set up exactly how i want it. i plug one into the 2 slot and one into the 5 slot or 6 or 7. i mix them together +100 and they work in unison just fine. BUT, if it is in the 5 slot, when i flip the gear switch one elevator goes completely up. or if it is in the 6 or 7 or 8 slot it will work fine also, but one elevator moves when i twist the knobs.???????? it is really not safe to fly with the possibility of one elevator working differently??????? i dont know how to turn any of the switches off. is it possible??

The switch operates channel five, and the knobs operate 6 to 8. You cant turn it off, but if you use the ailevator preset mix then it will ignore the knob. Us this mix. You can turn off the aileron function. It is the easiest way to set up duel elevator servos.
