can anyone explain to me how to do a knife edge spin??

many ways to do one. I normally do it by pulling up into a vertical climb stall turn 270^ to the left. Then hold that position with rudder and push full down elevator with what ever power is required. You'll need to add aileron, rudder etc. to keep it in it. But that works for me and my flip.

lower your throttle and give it opposite elevator. in some cases you can simply let go of the elevator

The best way to exit is to go into an inverted flat spin.

if you plane is tailheavy you will never make it out of the spin. a flat spin can be self sustaining while a knife edge spin can not.

If you can't pull out of a flat spin because you are too tail heavy, you shouldn't be flying in the first place.

some planes do not fly that poorly when they are that tailheavy. one of the guys at my club had a plane like that. guess what happened...

Do an inverted (full down elevator) spin with "wrong" rudder (same direction as aileron) and let me know what happens.
