Will This Work???

I am just finishing up my U Can Do 46 and am ready to put in the servos and begin programming. I have never had a plane with a separated elevator so I am not sure exactly how I should set this up on my transmitter. I am using a JR8103 with an R700 receiver. I am installing a 'y' harness on the aelerons and am wondering if I can do the same for the elevator? I know that I have seen that you can use a 'reverse' y harness for other things and would like to know if this would work for the UCD? If it does fit the bill is there anything that I should be aware of in setting up the plane this way? I talked to the hobby shop and they recommended putting the elevators on separate outlets like I have done on aelerons on other planes. Just wondering what you all recommend?

If that radio can do separate outlets for each elevator half, that would be ideal. It will also have to be able to trim each one separately. It would be nice if you could set the throws independently also. The other option is to go with a reversing Y. Electrodynamics makes a good one.

What channels would I use? Since I am using just the aeleron channel with the 'y' harness, would I just use the AUX 1 channel and the elevator channel and program it sorta like aelerons. Except for the fact that they move in the same direction, which I assume is overcome by reversing the direction of the appropriate servo? Just want to make sure I do it right and that when I trim them, they move the same.
