I'd say the WideBody 40.

The Ultrasport and Giles need major modification, and even then I don't know how good they would be.

The Cap does 3D (I have one) but the coupling on knife edge does not make it the best flier. Does nice walls though.

i thought the ultra sport will be good because i read there that he can do 3d and it has big control surface.
the widebody 40 is better than the cap ?
how is the cap ? in realflight he doesn't do 3d well so is it diffrent from realflight ?

Real flight does not 3D well, it is nothing to do with the Cap.

the Cap is not the best, though lack of torque roll ability is more due to size (and me). Does snaps and spins well, harriers are quite stable with a bit of spoileron help.

As I say the biggest issue is the rudder coupling. You can elimiate the roll coupling by using less dihedral, but the pitch coupling is quite strong as well I have found. This makes rolling circles etc harder than they should be, let alone knife edge.

To be honest I have not seen either the Ultra Sport or Giles (GP kits are not available in the UK [:'(] had to get the Cap as a special order). Of the two I would go for the giles.

just for comparation in my head, you would say the cap can do a little less good 3d than this : http://www.espritmodel.com/l_giles2023d.html or they aren't in the same level at all(the giles is better).
and if we are comparing this two so where is the widebody stand next to them ?
anyway thanks for your help.

for a first 3d plane buy a ca model funky 40 this thing is solid. no wing rock i did my first true harrier with this plane. walls blenders elevators hovering it is all easy with this thing. worth checking this plane out.

never flown the widebody. but the funky is such a floater, mine has never snapped on me , and i have rang it out very hard. you would not be dissapointed. i think i will have to buy a widebody 40 just to see how it flies. i am also impressed with the seduction planes made buy piliot.

None of those planes you mentioned in your first post are going to 3d worth a crap.

The Giles on that link is the China Model Productions Giles right? We have a couple of them flying at our field and I had a chance to take the sticks of one a while back. None of them have been set up for 3D flying so I can not give you a true answer but I can tell you this much the plane has a good feel to it. The one I flew needed a bunch more tail weight. And a lot more throw on the elevator and ailerons. A couple of mixes would have helped to. Some spoilerons in particular for the upright harriers. BUT! I was able to hover it fairly easily DOD and walls were very easy. Upright harriers were easy in my opinion but there was some wingrocking which I think a little bit of spoileron mix will take out. Rudder authority is pretty good and knife edge loops were very easy. It does couple a bit but no headache.

As I said the plane has potential but personally I would not buy one. I'd rather stick to my profiles which I know for a fact are capable.

maybe he is mini-imac legall but it doesn't mean he will be good at this, thw widebody seems like he will be better for imac than the giles
