Default Kyosho G-Trick 90 Elevator Pushrods

I'm Getting ready to start assembly on a G-Trick 90. Looks to me like they intend for me to drive the elevators with a single servo pushing a "tuning-fork" setup. Perhaps a better installation would be to use one of Central Hobbies' ball bearing dual coupler devices that drives with a single pushrod and extends a couple of pusher arms outside the fuse. Any advice?? Also, is it worth the $$ to use carbon fiber/titanium pushrods and high-end control horns??

MK do a BB coupler set aswell, that has a single servo pusing both the elevators. It seems to work very well, with little differential in the elevators. CPLR uses it, alomg with countles other people.
I don't think that the high $ setup is needed, aslong as you set it up accurately, with little slop. If you want, you could upgrade the parts at a later stage, if you are not happy with how it flies.
My 2c,
Robert.

Kirk,

on my G-Trick (YS 91 powered) I chose to tail mount the servos (2 Futaba 9202's)... you have to stagger them, but I used a JR matchbox and the setup works great. used 4-40 rods. I am also using the nice Robart control horns with the ball and clevis.

Any more questions, let me know.

Oh yeah, it balances just fine with the servos in the tail.

Take care,
Scott
