Hey,
What engine is the best for the Funtana 90 Knockout. I have a OS 90 2 stroke in mine. I was wondering what engines you all have. So far this OS is doing great.

there are 2 guys at my field with the YS110 in them and they easily pull out of a hover with them, i'd say the YS110 is a good bet.

Well I have a 90 in mine and it pulls it out of a hover really good. I know it is enough for me to get down low with it and trust it.
Here is a picture of it

do you guys have any rpm readings on you 91fx's, I seem not to have enough power,
I am using 15% and 16x4 APC, tried 15x6 and getting about 9000 rpm with 16x4 and 9300 with 15x6.
I expected it to put more power. I have a perry regulating pump and I might have tuning problem.
It just barely hovers, however it is still not broken in yet.
Please post your tach readings.

I'm not using a OS engine. Using the MVVS 91 with mini tuned pipe, and it turns an APC 15x6 10,300 rpms on 5% fuel. I tried an APC 16X4 and it turned the same rpms on the ground, but I did not like the way the plane flew in the air. Level flight speed seemed to be the same but the vertical was no where as good.

This engine is supposed to be quite good, the CA models epsilon uses one in a video I have seen. And that a 3.3kg model. I think most peopleuse the 1.08OS though.

Did you give your .91 a good rich break in? Are you sure your back plate and head is not lose?

I run my F90 with a YS110 swinging an APC 16x6, for me the best engine is the YS140, it costs a lot but then you need not make any mods to weigh the nose down. With a stock construction I need 6 oz on the nose.
