Yall are KILLING ME!!!!
Found mine.
I sent a deposit via the CH website back in May. I called Friday and they have no record of it. The deposit was collected by Planes Plus. CH and PP split their relationship a few months back. I was told my money is not gone, however un accounted for. My name was not on the list at CH, so the CH people are calling the PP people and it will be worked out. Crappy thing, I missed the first run. Suppose to be more in a couple of weeks. uh huh
If you have not heard about the Vision you pre-ordered, call. # on the CH site.

Actually, I talked to the guy at CHP on Friday. The planes are actually in the US, only in a port sitting because there is noone to unload them.

I have the DV and it is a really treat to fly. I spent much time setting up my transmitter using Areofly Simulator. Flying the simulator and the flying the DV in real life is exactly the same. Great plane to fly. However the ball bearings are poorly manufactured and getting replacement parts from Chip has not been successful.

I'm just starting building my Vision and was studying the color scheme.
I don't mind it being asymetrical but I was wondering how visible it was against a white sky? Any keen observers out there with comments?
Regards,
Eric.

I was wondering more about the top view? It is an assortment of shapes on a white background. ["I wonder what it might say in Chinese?" (BG)]
There was a similar pattern on the Flip-3-D. I eventually peeled all of that off and gave it a high-vis scheme.
Regards,
Eric.

the bottom of the wings is red with white stars. Should be visible.

Been out of town allllllllllllll week. Visions showed Wendsday. Christmas came early. My son, Airplane Zane (7), has been telling me about it.
Just got home.
First thoughts. Elevators are smaller than expected, may need to make an ajustment
Rudder is awesome. Zane said it was heavy, I gotta agree with him. I will weight it tomorrow. Ailerons are great. Shiny gear and the glass, paint, wood work and covering are much better than expected.
Sweeeeeeeeeet
Zane snap a pic

Cool Tony... "Git 'er Dun"
Could you measure the root chord and the tip chord? And the length of each panel (down the center not along the LE or TE)?
What about the various colored covering... Does it all look like it's on top of white? Like on the rudder, does the red and yellow at the top look like it's applid on top of the white or is the yellow seamed with the white?
Just curious to see how easy a covering redesign might be...
Also the wings... are they built up or sheeted foam?
Judging by the pic, the Vision's body has the same outline (and probably most of the same parts ) as the DV. Even the rudder is the same. I notice the front of the hatch is built angled forward vs. vertical like the DV...
Mine'll be here Monday, but it isn't going to get any attention other than a thorough inspection til after the first of the year.
Oh... and those elevators... based on the videos there's no need to modify them in the least... but that is a personal prefernce...
