Guys and Gals.
I need to buy myself a good entry level ARF for doing good 3D manuevers. Which one should i buy. There are loads and loads of kit available. That makes the decision even more difficult.
So you 3D masters out there suggest me a good cheap 40/60 size 3D ARF kit.
waiting for the best response.
cheers

Any Morris Hobbies .40 size ARFs - approx. $150.00
Extase by S2G (RCPlanePower)(.60 size) - $220.00
Magic3D (prob. the cheapest w. limitations) - $100.00
TT Slow Flying P51 (flat bottom wing, lots of fun) - $120.00
Do not get a Thunder Tiger Fun Fly ARF (Extra or G200) both are too heavy, crappy covering and fuses not very strong.

Get the Carl Goldberg Extreme 330. One of the lightest ARFs out there and completely capable of ANY maneuver. See it at www.carlgoldbergproducts.com. Its my favorite of the profile ARFs.

The originail post asked for an entry level 3D plane. I have a Seduction Ono special and I love it, but it is NOT an entry level 3D plane. The profile style aircraft are much easier to learn 3D on "dude", thats why I recommended the Ex-treme 330. I spoke with Goldberg Friday and they have a whole warehouse full of them here in the states. Price is $159.95

An Entry level 3 D plane , woudl be one that is lighter than the aerobatic aircrafts & have larger surface areas for throws .
Saying this , any of the kits which ahve been discussed is this thread are good enoughg for entry level 3D , excepting the Seduction Uno , as it is a good mix of Aerobatic as well as 3 D.
REgards.

I suspected Lanier would put more of good-than-bad slant to the Goldberg line, but when someone gets bought out, sometimes ya just don't know. I still am sorry to see Goldberg go.... I learned on an Eagle II I built in 1990. Nostalgia, I guess!

I would call the Madness good, but far from cheap. If it's cheap in Ireland, maybe a vacation is in order he he.
