I'm moving up to 3D now and I would like to know which plane I should get. I easily mastered a GP Super sportster and a Mini Laser 3D with a Hacker B20 15L motor. I learned how to hover with my Mini Laser 3D but I didnt feel confterble hovering It low to the ground. I would like a plane that can easily hover low to the ground.

Don't need a plane. Need confidence. If it's easy 30 feet up its easier 5 feet up, just don't have a 25 foot cushion. I finally worked up the nerve to get them down low and my Hard Bet flamed out at about 6 feet up (never went dead stick before, stuff happens). If you want to minimize the risk, get something that will take a beating. SPAD or a Burrito.

I would try the edge 540 profile, mini 3d or the new yak 55 sp from extreme flight. the mini and the edge are about 45 inch wingspan and the yak 55 sp is about 30 inches or so. each of them can be economically run on either gas or electric. extreme flight's customer support is awsome, and each of their products are truly works of art. between dovetailed joints, laser cut and interlocking parts, their strength for their weight is simply unmatched. or, if you are willing to spend a litle more than that, (those will run you no more than $400 with everything you need) you can go with something like a modeltech magic or magic extra, each of which are good planes. i have flown them both. the regular magic flies kinda wierd, but it still flies smooth with no bad tendancies at all, and is a really fun plane. h9 also has a plane known as the twist that is a new addition to the 3d/funfly planes out there. if you are willing to go just a tad over budget, i would consider something like the funtana 40. i have not gotten the chance to fly it myself but the quality is impressive and they seem to fly very well.
