first pattern plane

hey I am looking at getting my first pattern plane i have been flying profiles and helicopters all summer (and about the last 4) and want to start doing contests next summer any suggestions on a good plane. I looked at the widebody .60 looks cool just wonderin if there is some thing better.

I'm not Andrew but I'm a good freind of his, I'm only answering because he has and does have such a busy schedule.
The Widebody would be good from what I've seen fly as would the Epsilon which I have ordered, I haven't flown either plane can say from judging them at contest they are very capable, that if you like to build, keep it light as possible don't over do paint, theres good threads on the pattern section of a detailed build.

I would agree with Steve, the new ca planes are great for pattern flying. They also let you fly some 3d if you want to. As steve mentioned I am very busy right now I just got back from Chicago show and am leaving tomorrow to head to tuscon.
