Hi...does anyone here know who makes this plane and where I can get information about it? Someone told me that the Madness is simply an ARF knockoff of this kit. I don't mind building and might be interested in this kit if it looks and behaves at all like the Madness. Thanks!

Mark

the Madness an ARF knockoff of a No Limit!!! Do not believe a word of it.
The Madness is a design of the actual F3A Worldchampion and TOC winner - Christophe Paysant le Roux.

The flying qualities of the plane are more than outstanding.

You could look at the Laser 3D too.

I built a Nolimit about a year ago. It flew ok, but it was a little heavy. I'm now flying a Diablotin Super, and it flies much better. It is also over 1.5 pounds lighter. A couple months ago there were some post on the Funky 40 it looked good also. Tom

3Dreaming,
Tell me about your thoughts on the Diablotin Super. What engine and overall weight. I have a Saito 100 that needs a home. I was looking at some of the Espirt models, also was looking at the Diabolic. Hows the 3D performance? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
EdMan

EdMan, don't even think about a Saito1.00. I am flying mine with a HP.40 witn mousse can muffler. It will hover at 1/4 throttle, and rocket out at full throttle. My all up weight is 3.75lbs with Hitec 225BB's all around except throttle is a HS81, 720 nimh battery, and Hitec super slim rec.. Any good .32-.40 fun fly motor will work great, just keep it light as possible. This is the funnest airplane I have ever flown in 25+ years of R/C. The regular Diablotin might be better suited for the Saito 1.00 IMO. Tom

Hmmmm...went to the NoLimit3D site and inquired about purchasing one but I never got an email back. I inquired about the Seduction Freestyle and at least I've been exchanging emails with them. The shipped price is reasonable too. The Madness has a major backorder but too many clams for me anyways.

I got a chance to see the guy who wrote that little testimony on the NL3D site. It flies really nice. Looks pretty cool doing point rolls while staying in a stationary position. But someone else at the field who ordered one wasn't happy with the wood.

I'll look at the Laser3D before I decide but right now looks like the Seduction Freestyle. I still got a TopCap on the bench as I write this :bananahea . Thanks for the input.
