Yep. I know. Makes you want to quit huh?
I had the oppotunity one day to watch Chip and Jason fly in Tucson. Unreal!!!!!
I saw Jason pick up a Ultrastick .40 (that wasnt set up for 3D)
and absolutely tear the sky up with it. Hovers that were on the deck. Backing it down in a hover from about 50 feet up.
Definately a sight to see.

it makes me want to go to the Field and fly all day until i can do it. i seen Mike Sauls fly a couple of months ago. i wasn't even in to 3d until i seen his performance. know its all i try to do. i asked him if it was talent or practice and he said " i fly every day rain snow or shine. so it's one part talent and one part practice!

It means you havent been in the hobby long enough, or dont fly enough!
It makes me feel bad that I cant do that...YET... I really need to go flying TWO times a day! Yeah, thats it!

Robert I think that its necessary to crash once in a while! If your flying planes that are 3D its almost important to your development. Look at all the great figure skaters and think where they would be if they never fell. If you want to be on the edge you need to expose yourself to the dangers that the edge intails! Planes like the Magic 3D are meant to be put in harms way. As long as its done in a manner that is safe and not too offensive to your fellow flyers. After all its only a hundred dollar plane.

I watched Chip Hyde at Muncie last year and was also very impressed with his airplane skills. I saw him again this year, at Muncie, and he put on a helicopter demo. He is just as impressive with a heli.
