I am pretty new at this hobby and still need some help, I just put together a mini 3d with a O.S. 25 fp motor and was wondering where to start for a prop? How will different props and pitches affect the performance?
I have some 8x4 and 8x6 APC props and I think I bought some 9x4 and 9x6 master airscrew props wwould one of these work or do I need someting else?
Chris

Search the Mini 3D thread, there is along thread under my name, Most guys run the 9-3 and 10-3 apc with the 25 engine, with some 9-4 and and 10-4 apc's. also try some wood in those sizes.
Good luck Dennis

I had one with the 25FX and a 10x3 APC. Power was down right insane! I think the FP will turn it pretty good too. I also flew one on a 25LA with the 9x3 APC. Power wasn't nearly as good, but still pulled from a hover well. And I flew one on a GMS 25. And I flew one on an Axi, and... and...
You will fall in love with the Mini 3D. It is the most fun plane I've ever flown. Friends have video of me flying mine, laughing out loud at the flightline.
It is truly an amazing little plane. It's like "The Little Plane That Could".
Have fun with it.
