Default 3d prop for a 61

What is anybody using fo 3d on a .61. I have a SuperTigre .61 and am trying to find the best 3d prop.

it depends what % nitro u use. if lower than 10% use 13X4. if 10 and more go on 14X4

Was your info on the effects of %nitro on best prop size based on tach measurements or just a guess? What rpms did you measure? A 14x4 on a 61 with 10% nitro looks like too much prop to me based on the data posted in the tach measurement forum.

people in my country have better results on 14x4 on 61 fx. don't know about yours. and I have been told by mail too via fev people. so u think 13X4 better? me not.

I got 11000 w/ APC 13x4W on a OS 60 FP w/ 10% nitro. I'd think the ST should swing this prop at close to 12k. In my opinion, 14x4W is too much for a 61, unless it's a piped long stroke.

12.25-3.75 w. is the prop for GMS 61
