Has anybody out there crazy enough to fly 3d with anything? The past couple of weeks I have been flying 3D type airbatics with a telemaster( with a Tower.61 on the nose) that a nice guy at the field gave me. Last saturday,I flew a fairly perfect TR with it. It was my first one that couldn't be confused by any stretch of the imagination as an awkward hover.

I find with enough power and control throws, and a dual rate setup you can almost hover anything. Hi wing aircraft are harder I think because they don't roll on the center of the fuse. I Have a 62" lazy ace w/ a OS 91FX and I can get a decent hover out of it. It weighs 11 lbs. You need all the throw you get though. I wouldn't do it too low, but fun to screw around with.
