From: Leicester,
Hi all,
A mate of mine just passed over a zen50 which has minor crash damage (and i mean minor) for me to play with. My only concern is that the wing+cowl+fuz (including retracts, but no other hardware) weighs 3.5 lb....is this about right/ too heavy?...i've lost touch with whats right for these sized models regarding weight. The biggest down side is i've gotta strip the covering right off to check for any other damage so gonna lose that nice scheme.
Many Thanks
p.s. any thoughts on things to look out for on the model would be much appreciated.
Thanks again

A guy at the flying field has a Zen 50 with a Magnum 80 4 stroke and a gyro on the rudder to keep it straight in the wind, it flyes like on rails with pleanty of power, looks very pretty in the air.
