New aerobatic aircraft
Has anyone seen the ad in Sport Aviation of the new revision of an Giles aircraft. I'm not absolutely positive as to what is it called but I think it may be close to GX2 or something. Please help me out. Thanks.

RE: New aerobatic aircraft
I saw the first production MX2 at Oshkosh. It is a nice looking airplane. The guys were telling me that the G202 had some aerodynamic dead spots (if you will) during snaps. So, MXR Technologies desided to fix the G202 weak areas. Long story short, they designed a new aircraft.
All composite. +- 14 G's 250 to 380 HP Vne 220 (same as the Extra and Cap... Edge 540 is 260 I think).
They had a lot of top pilots give input on this one... they say they have a winner.

3 views: Not that I have seen. They said their webpage has just very basic info on it for now and they will update it soon with more content.
The production A/C flew straight from the paint shop in Dallas, TX to Oshkosh... so I'm sure they will need some time to take more photos and update the site. The paint is simular to the one on the site now, but it has a checkerboard pattern on the leading edge of the wing (I'm not looking forward to duplicating that in Monokote). ;-)
