Default Dave Patrick 120 ULtimate

Finishing up a DP Ultimate with Saito 180. What is the best prop for all round performance? I enjoy basic aerobatics but would like to try some 3D maneuvers! Thanks for your help guys!

Good light 18x6 such as Menz or Mejzlik would do.

The Bolly 19x6 will work really well too. This prop is a little less load than APC 18x6W. So expect high 9500 rpm with this prop, pulling about 18 lb.

I flew my DP ultimate with a Mejzlik 18x8 at 9300rpm on Wildcat ys 20-20 fuel. That was my favorite setup. I also ran a APC 17x6 with some pretty good performance. You just can't beat the throttle response with the Mejzlik prop though.

What engine is that? Mejzlik 18x8 @ 9300 rpm is impressive, especially on only 20/20 fuel.

Wow, the same motor swings APC 18x6W @ barely 9000 rpm. Mejzlik's 18x8 gets 300 rpm more than APC's 18x6W. I really owe myself to try this prop.

I got the same numbers swinging the APC prop. You won't believe how much lighter the Mejzlik prop is compared to the APC. The throttle response is way better, and you get more thrust. The only downfall is the cost of the Mejzlik.

Your Saito 180 gets 9300 with APC 18x8? That's quite impressive.

Sean... I have the Mezjlik 18X6 on my ST 1.40... It really is a great prop... I weighted it once at 2.3 oz.... I had the APC but gained nearly 1,000 RPM with the Mezj...
