Any one?? The instructions call for a 60-70 and the manufacture say's it will hover with a OS46. I would really like to put a 4-stroke in it.

I just put one together with a Saito 91. With 2 elevator servos and the rudder servo in the tail it is still tail heavy.

I wouldnt use a smaller engine. If I was doing it again I would use the Saito 91 because I already had the engine but I would move the rudder servo forward in the fuse and use pull pull.

The cowl is too small for the 91.

A YS 63 should be killer if a 46FX can hover it.

I have a YS 91ac in my Diablotin FG and it has unlimited vertical at a little over 1/2 throttle and I didn't need any weight to balance. The cowl is a little too short but It can be made to work if you don't care if it is perfect.

I'm actually doing a review on it for RCU , It should be in Nov issue. The plane is all together i just needed a engine for it. It's one nice looking plane ,It went together very fast.

Default Please Post Pictures of Construction of Stabalator

Can anyone post pictures of how the Flying Stab is supposed to go together? It seems to simple to attach them with 4 screws and glue a copper pipe in place.

which Diablotin do you have, I have 3 supers which is the very light one. I use os 46fx with es designes cf tunned muffler which weighs much less than stock muffler and increases power 25%. it hovers at 2/3 throttle
