3D SetupProven- CG and PROP for CAP 232!!!
Gents,
looking for a good proven and flight tested combo. Looking for a 3d Setup, for the Kangke Cap 232, 1.20 Size. The engine is an OS 1.60. Please let me know so I may do some testing this weekend.
thanks,
Steve

Make sure the CG is dead on 5" aft of LE, not more, not less. You should be able to accomplish this CG if you put battery just aft of firewall, and use lighter servos for elevators, like 5475.
The best performance I had with it was Bolly 19x6 carbon prop, but it's too expensive (got too slow, did a hard landing and ruined a $46 prop). Bambula 18x8 is also good. This plane is not like other 3D planes. It will stall if you get it too slow, so using an 8" pitch prop keeps landing speed adequate during idle.
